is state farm classic car insurance any good

Alabama, like virtually every other state, requires its drivers to buy auto insurance before they drive on any Alabama roadway. Failure to do so can result in your car's registration being suspended, a fine of $100, plus a lot of wasted time and aggravation on your part. Fortunately there's an easy way for any driver to get cheap auto insurance in Alabama.

Every state has what is called a basic liability auto insurance policy. This is the absolutely cheapest auto insurance any driver can buy and still drive legally. In Alabama the cheapest auto insurance you can buy is what is known as a 20/40/10 basic liability policy.

This policy has a maximum payout of $20,000 toward the medical expenses of any one individual who is involved in an accident with your vehicle. If more than one person in the other vehicle is injured this insurance will pay a maximum of $40,000 for all of their medical bills. Finally, this insurance will pay a maximum of $10,000 in property damage, which generally involves repairing the other person's car, but can include other property as well.

One thing you need to be aware of is that a liability policy will not pay one cent toward the repair of your vehicle nor will it pay even one cent toward any medical bills you may have or that anyone riding in your vehicle at the time of an accident might have.
